This mattress helped me because it released lots of pressure points on my back & legs when I was one time sleeping. Because of this I had a way more relaxed sleep without having to squirm & have a restless sleep. The thing I did not like was that the gel layer was slightly to narrow - only two.5", against other 3" mattresses. However, the top layer has the gel patented expertise which makes up for the 0.5" layer loss.
