Organic Latex Mattress AND Natural Latex Mattress - What is the Difference ?

In this article I want to clarify things as to what constitutes "Certified Organic" against nature aka "botanically derived latex" mostly used by manufacturers of latex foam mattresses. Today there is only one truth USDA / EU Certified Organic latex used for latex mattress cores and latex mattress toppers. The company that makes this product has very limited amounts available so there are only a handful of mattress factories in the U.S. that can even put their hands on it.

The company that has broken the "Certified Organic Latex" green latex barrier located in Sri Lanka. This has taken years to achieve. Latex Green had to isolate a large part of their rubber tree plantation and keep it free of chemical pesticides and chemical fertilizers for years until it was finally awarded organic certification, both in the U.S. and the EU. Additionally, a portion of the assembly also had to be isolated and maintained sterile. This was a major undertaking and huge expense to pull this off, but the green latex commitment to the land and the environment has been nothing short of commendable and much appreciated by those who offer non-toxic sleep solutions.

This is what Latexco, the only authorized dealer in the U.S., had to say about this long journey-"In order to meet the requirements for certification of green latex secretes a part of the plantation. USDA requires no chemical fertilizers or pesticides used on trees or on the ground for at least four years before any sap can be collected. After purging for 4 years, the sap is collected and stored in a separate facility.'s then mixed, processed, poured, washed and packaged separately using separate equipment to avoid contamination.'ll notice that even the organic pincore pattern is somewhat different from the normal (natural, but not certified organic latex) Naturalux. That is because newly commissioned molds used to produce the organic are used solely for that purpose and never used to produce other products, ensuring that there is no mixing, residues or traces of contamination. material is also packaged in paper lined paper aluminum and stored separately, both the LG and our facilities. This has been a long and expensive process that requires years of commitment, diligence and investment, but the results are truly organic Natural Latex First World ". This video can explain most organic Latex Mattress

When Mitra of the R & D in green latex asked "What is that latex mattress cores differ from organic natural latex cores?" the answer was regarding the natural latex harvesting "botanically derived". "According to our observations of plantations, it is common fertilizers used in the early stages until the rubber tree is grown and ready to play. Once the tapping (approximately 06-07 years) and trees become adults, the use of fertilizers is gradually reduced allowing the tree to sustain growth on its own. collect latex plantations that have trees that are over 20 years old and therefore the need for fertilizers has become important.

Second, it uses 100% natural latex in our compounds, no fillers or synthetic latex added. Therefore, we also believe that our products can be recognized as "botanically derived latex products."

So the conclusion is that the only real difference is the use or non-use of fertilizers in the early stages of plant development. As explained above, including natural rubber latex technically botanically derived, uses very little if any chemical fertilizers crop age. Tracking question that I have is about the use of pesticides that will be the subject of a follow up article once I receive the answer, but I expect a similar response.

The only remaining question would be one for himself, as organic latex mattresses are about 1/3 the price, and is "the purity of what you really need to go" when buying a natural latex mattress. As a side note, there has never been a reported case of a latex allergy associated with latex mattress, latex mattress or latex pillow according to the FDA, and that's because chemical residues that may have been present in the final latex process all washed away during the rinsing step 5.

So to completely eliminate any possible chemical contamination of certified organic latex would be the preferred option. The probability that there is some danger in the natural botanical latex obtained is doubtful but not inconceivable. The question that remains is "the price difference is worth the minimal risk"? My conclusion is this: there is no bad choice here. Both solutions are head over heels better than any other product to sleep on the market today. You simply can not go wrong with either organic latex mattress or natural latex mattress.
